Polyester Flock
Microfibres Polyester (Milled) Flock, pure white in color, provides excellent durability, strength, toughness, abrasion resistance and weatherability with low moisture and specific advantage such as acid and alkali resistance. Deniers available from 1.5 denier to 15 denier dependent on customer specifications.
250 – 550 microns
Polyester flocks are used in the reinforcement of rubber formulations and provide improved initial modulus, compressive strength, bending stiffness and tear resistance.
450 – 750 microns
Polyester flocks are used in the reinforcement of rubber formulations and provide improved initial modulus, compressive strength, bending stiffness and tear resistance.
650 – 1000 microns
Polyester flocks are used in the reinforcement of rubber formulations and provide improved initial modulus, compressive strength, bending stiffness and tear resistance.
850 – 3000 microns
Polyester flocks are used in the reinforcement of rubber formulations and provide improved initial modulus, compressive strength, bending stiffness and tear resistance.
Polyester Precision Cut
Microfibres Precision Cut Polyester is used in reinforcement applictations specifically for its fine diameter filament and resistance to stretching and abrasion.
1.53 denier to 1.89 denier precision cut cord/fiber from 4 mm to 15 mm is used in pharmaceutical and food packaging for its fine diameter filament characteristic. Also used in harsher environments such as lead acid batteries due to the resistance to sulphuric acid.
1.6 mm to 3 mm Precision cut Polyester cord/fiber is mainly used for its exceptional dispersion qualities in water consisting with relatively high gravity and high melting point that can be used in multiple applications. This particular cut length is found primarily in the manufacturing of lead oxide paste and performance paints.
Polyester RFL Precision Cut
Microfibres RFL Polyester precision cut cords, a semi-crystalline material, used as a reinforcement due to its dimensional stability at high temperatures, high breaking strengths, excellent resistance to mildew and acids, with good aging, abrasion resistance, high tensile strength, resilience and resistance to stretching, as well as, superior compressibility.
4 mm to 9 mm Polyester RFL cut cords are a multi-filament construction plied and twisted in bundles, cut to appropriate size and mixed and dispersed to provide enhanced dispersion qualities using internal mixers and mixing mills allowing for directional reinforcement in molding operations.
